Centre Bell Stadium will host game 3 between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Montreal Canadiens Friday night. Vegas lost game 2 of the series 3-2 after a dominating 4-1 win in game 1. Marc-Andre Fleury struggled in game 2 posting an .870 save percentage, while stopping 20 of the 23 shots against Vegas resulting in the loss.

The Golden Knights offense was off its game as well in game 2 only scoring 2 goals after pumping in 4 in game 1. Several Golden Knights has assists in game 2 but the only scoring came from Alex Pietrangelo with goals in the 2nd and 3rd period of the game.

Montreal bounced back in a huge way in game 2 responding to the dominating loss with a near perfect game. The Canadiens won every aspect of game 2 and took the home ice advantage. Carey Price was the best player on the ice all night saving 29 of 31 shots on goal with the second coming late in the game, while still holding on for the win.

Offensively the Canadiens scored 2 more goals in game 2 than in game 1 getting offense from several different players. Joel Edmundson had 2 assists in the game, while 4 other Canadiens had 1. Joel Armia, Paul Byron, and Tyler Toffoli all touched the net in game 2 with 1 goal each.

Montreal was able to steal game 2 and take home ice in this series. Look for VGK to bounce back in this game to retake control of the series. VGK is the better and deeper team and will show that for 60 minutes on Friday night. Final Score Prediction, Vegas Knights wins 3-1.
