The Vegas Golden Knights stay on the road Thursday on a five game win streak following their four goal win in game three of this series. Adin Hill was tremendous for Vegas in the net stopping all 34 shots against leading to the shed out in 60 minutes. Ivan Barbashev led the way for the Vegas offense with one goal and two assists in just under 17 minutes on the ice, while three other Vegas players scored one goal each.
The Vegas Golden Knights offense has been fantastic this season averaging 3.26 goals per game on 31.5 shots but the team's defense has been phenomenal allowing just 2.74 goals on less than 31 shots per game. Jack Eichel led the way for the Vegas offense with 66 points, while Chandler Stephenson posted a team high 49 assists. Jonathan Marchessault led the team with 28 goals on 234 shots.
The Dallas Stars stay at home Thursday down by three games in the series following the blowout loss in game three on Tuesday. Jake Oettinger had his worst game of the playoffs posting a .400 save percentage after allowing three goals on five shots in just over 7 minutes on the ice. Scott Wedgewood was much better giving up just one goal on 11 shots across 52.5 minutes of action. Offensively Dallas was terrible failing to score despite 34 shots on goal.
Offensively Dallas was fantastic this season averaging 3.41 goals on 31.9 shots, but their defense was one of the best in the league allowing just 2.62 goals per game period Jason Robertson did everything for Dallas this season with 109 points and led the team with 63 assists, while posting a team high 46 goals on 313 shots as well.
