Edmonton had a very impressive preseason. The Oilers ended up winning a total of 6 preseason games and looked balanced offensively, but definitely have a lot of work defensively. In one of the 2 losses for the Oilers the goalies allowed 5 goals by the Winnipeg Jets.

The Oilers are coming in with 3 goalies that are all over the age of 33. The Oilers most likely will use Mikko Koskinen in the net. Last year Koskinen posted a 13-13-0 record with an 89.9% save percentage, but allowed a total of 3.17 goals per game.
