Two Team NHL Parlay - Sunday 4/11/21

On  Sunday the NHL will definitely present another round of good games to be played. However, what is interesting is some of these games are the classic rivalry type of matches that the fans only dream of watching. One of those games will showcase the Islanders taking on the Rangers, which is the first half of our two team NHL parlay. The second half of the NHL parlay comes from the East as well with the Bruins taking on the Capitals.

New York Rangers at New York Islanders, NYI -143 ; O/U 5.5

The battle of New York will be a great battle as the Rangers have been on an upswing lately when it comes to the way they have been playing. However, the defense for the Rangers is not nearly as good as what the Islanders have on the ice. That could definitely make a difference in the game here as the Islanders are able to stop the Rangers offense. Not to mention the offense for the Rangers and the Islanders are very evenly matched and only having a slightly better chance for the Rangers on the scoring. The defense is what will rule the day here, though, as the Islanders keep the Rangers offense at bay just long enough to win. 

1st half of NHL Parlay: New York Islanders -143

Boston Bruins at Washington Capitals, WAS -114  ; O/U 6.5

In the game here it will be a good one as both of these teams are older and familiar with each other. However, one thing that can be noted is the fact that the Bruins are coming in playing better defensively and have not really lost their offensive step on the year. Granted, the Capitals do have a strong offense it will not be enough of an offensive power to help secure the win as the Bruins are able to stop the Capitals from controlling the game like they have against so many of their opponents on the year.
