The Toronto Maple Leafs are taking a trip on the road to Los Angeles Wednesday evening to take on the Kings at Staples Center. This matchup will be nationally televised on TNT at 7pm PT. Toronto is 13-6-1 on the season while the Kings come into the game at 8-7-3.

Toronto is led offensively by Mitch Marner, who has 17 points with six goals and 11 assists.Johnny Tavares has eight goals on the season, two on the power play and is leading the Leafs with 64 shots on goal. The Toronto Maple Leafs are second in the Atlantic Division behind only the Florida Panthers.

In the crease, Jack Cambell has the starting job sealed up as he has a record of 10-4-1 on the year with a 1.66 goals against average, and a save percentage of .944.

The Los Angeles Kings are led by Anze Kopitar who has 17 points on the season so far with eight goals and nine assists. Kopitar has three power play goals, three power play assists, and is minus five on the year.

In net, and rounding out the end of his career is Johnathan Quick, who despite aging, is still playing like he is in his twenties with a goals against average of 1.88 with a .939 save percentage. Quick is 4-4-2 on the season as far as record goes, however most of the losses came due to poor defensive play.

With Toronto winning eight out of their last ten games against phenomenal opponents like the New York Rangers, and the Kings losing their last four games, I’d say the losing streak continues for the Kings. Final Score Prediction, Toronto Maple Leafs win 4-2.
