The MVP is a player that has done more for his team than anyone else or managed to get the proper level of support from his teammates. Now, the NHL has several players that are in the top race for getting the MVP awards in the NHL. So who are the favored players that could end up getting the Hart Trophy this season?

Leon Draisaitl is leading the NHL in points this year and if he is able to keep up the same pace once the NHL pause is back then he will definitely be a favorite to win the Hart Trophy. However, Draisaitl is not alone in Edmonton at having the chance to lock down the Hart Trophy. What could hurt Draisaitl’s chances of winning the MVP is the fact that he plays for Edmonton.

Connor McDavid is the teammate that is coming in as a favorite for the Hart Trophy as well. McDavid will be in almost direct competition with his teammate for the trophy but he is one player that could end up pushing the envelope. Not to mention, the reason why Draisaitl is doing so well is a lot of the defenses are focused on stopping McDavid.

David Pastrnak is coming in from the Bruins in this game here and that will definitely be a good thing for the Bruins on the year. Pastrnak has managed to play well enough to help carry the Bruins really well. The team that Pastrnak plays for will definitely help him out in getting some extra push, but it will definitely help that the Bruins are one team that can make the playoffs.

Nikita Kucherov is one player that really relies on his team for a lot of the support that is needed to make the difference. Playing for Tampa Bay Lightning will help Kuchverox in getting the chance to win and also the support that is needed to continue to play at a very high level.

Connor McDavid +200

Leon Draisaitl +200

David Pastrnak +400

Artemi Panarin +800

Brad Marchand +1000

John Carlson +2500

Nikita Kucherov +3300

Artemi Panarin is playing for the Rangers this year and all season long has been the offensive threat for the Rangers. Panarin has done really well in getting the Rangers to be a potential threat for the playoffs on the year. Not to mention the way that Panarin has been playing for the Rangers this year has some fans wondering if he could end up being a Mark Messier type of player who can potentially lead the Rangers for years to come. Look for Panarin to help lead the Rangers to the playoffs this season and lock down the Hart Trophy. Hart Trophy winner prediction, Artemi Panarin.
