This Saturday, Nikita Kucherov and the Tampa Bay Lightning will head to TD Garden to take on David Pastrnak and the Boston Bruins. The Tampa Bay Lightning will enter this game against the Boston Bruins following an embarrassing loss against the Ottawa Senators this past Thursday which resulted in a final score of 7-2. The Lightning have now lost three games in a row.
The Lightning have been struggling lately, and it isn’t because of Andrei Vasilevskiy. You would think with all the firepower and offensive talent that the Lightning have, they would have scored more than two goals in each of their last three games. Unfortunately for the Lightning, the Bruins arr a much tougher team to beat compared to the last three they just lost to.
The Boston Bruins will enter this game against the Tampa Bay Lightning following a huge win against their rival, the Montreal Canadiens. In the game against the Canadiens, David Pastrnak led the way for the Bruins as he managed to record his 49th goal of the season while also assisting on David Krejci’s goal late in the 3rd period which put the Bruins up 4-2. The Bruins have now won five straight games.
The Boston Bruins entered this 2022-2023 season as a team that wasn’t even expected to make the postseason, but instead they made history. The Bruins became the fastest team in NHL history to reach the 100 point-mark and are the first team to clinch a playoff spot this season with their record of 55-11-5. The Bruins owe a lot of credit to every guy in that locker room, but David Pastrnak is on a completely different level than anyone else. Pastrnak currently has 49 goals, 46 assists, and 95 points in only 71 games played.
