Stars at Predators 4/20/19 - NHL Picks & Predictions

The Stars and Predators are meeting for the fifth game of this series with it already tied at 2-2. However, the last game was one that actually nodded in favor of the Predators who were able to completely dominate the game with a final score of 5-1. This is going to make it quite a bit easier for the Predators coming into this game here after they were able to control the game in such a high regard.

Now, what else will be interesting is if Nashville is able to carry forward the momentum they picked up from winning the 4th game of the series to avoid going down 3-1. If they can, then the Predators are going to have a great chance of winning out the series, but if the Predators are unable to carry the momentum then it could be a challenge for the Predators in this game. During the regular season the Stars were not that strong offensively with only 2.55 goals a game being scored. The Stars defense, though, was one of the best that you could find in the NHL allowing only 2.44 goals a game. The power play conversion and kill did decent as well with 21% conversion being scored and killing off 82.8% of the penalties they faced.

With the Predators the offense did decent with 2.88 goals a game being scored. The Predators defense allowed only 2.59 goals a game on the regular season. The Predators were the worst on the power play conversion that was done at 12.9% on the year, but the penalty kill was sitting at 82.1% on the season.
