Stars at Blues 4/25/19 - NHL Playoffs Picks & Predictions

Dallas had to go all the way to game 6 before they were able to advance. However, the Stars were able to take down the Predators in the series and that was impressive since the Predators were a team that had dominated them for the most part in the regular season. Now, the Stars have to face the Blues, who finished ahead of them in the standings in the regular season and these two teams did have quite a few battles.

During the regular season and even into the playoffs the Stars relied on Tyler Seguin. For the regular season Seguin was able to score a total of 80 points in the year and managed to get 33 goals, and ended up getting a total of 47 assist on the year. The Blues were able to knock out the Jets in the game which led to the top 2 teams in the Central Division to be knocked out. Then throw in the Flames being eliminated and it is easy to see the Western Conference may not be as threatening as what it was first thought. Now, the Blues are coming into this game here with a strong offense and a defense that has shut down multiple opponents in the playoffs this year.

Ryan O’Reilly is coming into the game here with 77 points on the year, but only led in the assist category with a total of 49 assist on the season. Vladimir Tarasenko was able to lead the Blues in the goals by finding the back of the net with 33 goals.
