St Louis Blues vs Dallas Stars 8/9/20 - NHL Picks & Predictions

Dallas looks like a shell of what they were able to do in the regular season. However, that was expected as the Stars were one team that started off extremely slow in the games and definitely did not play that good right before the pause. The Saint Louis Blues, though, are one team that started off playing consistent hockey and now have to figure out how to play better in the game here if they want to bring home a win.

The Stars are coming into the game after dropping their last 2 games. Dallas ended up losing one of the games by a shutout in the game to the Colorado Avalanche with a 4-0 score. The game that the Stars played against the Golden Knights was just as horrible with a 5-3 score being the final which showed the Stars defense is not good.

The Saint Louis Blues were unable to do much of anything to play consistent in the games so far. The opening loss for the Blues was a loss to Colorado and it was a game that the Blues offense showed up good in the game by a 2-1 score. The next game, though, the Blues did not show up defensively and it showed with a 6 goal game by Vegas, but the Blues defense did show up and allowed only 4 goals.
