St. Louis Blues at Arizona Coyotes 10/18/21 - NHL Picks & Predictions

Saint Louis is coming in after getting a win in their last game over the Avalanche. The win came with a final score of 5-3. The win was the first on the year in the opening game for the Blues so far.

The Blues are coming into the game here after having Jordan Binnington in the net. In the victory Binnington played 60 minutes, but faced a total of 32 shots. In those 32 shots he was able to turn away 29 of those shots.

The Coyotes are coming to the game here after losing in their last game. The loss for Arizona came in the form of a shoot out and it was against the Sabres with a 2-1 score. The Coyotes after that loss did pick up a point, but still are sitting on an 0-1-1 record on the year.

In the loss the Coyotes used only a single goalie in the game. Karen Vejmelka played in the game in net. In the losing effort Vejmelka played 65 minutes and did great. Vejmelka ended up saving 97% of the shots that were sent his way and faced a total of 33 shots.

The Coyotes do not have any type of an offense. That has shown in the losses so far this year for Arizona and their is no reason to see that type of lack of offense change in this game here. Look for the Coyotes to continue to struggle offensively as Binnington is a good goalie and will be able to take and throw what should be a shutout. Final Score Prediction, Saint Louis Blues win 3-0.
