The Sharks are on the brink of elimination and that is definitely something the Sharks do not want to see happen. The good news for the Sharks is they have taken all of their games so far this playoff series to seven games. The bad news is the Sharks in the last game were completely controlled by the Blues and that was in San Jose.

The Blues definitely have the advantage in this game here as the Sharks are not as strong on the road as the team would like. What else will help the Blues out is the fact that they were able to figure out how to tear apart the Sharks defense in the last game and that should definitely carry over into this game as well. Not to mention Binnington and company have figured out how to throw a shutout against the Sharks offense.

Jordan Binnington was in the net for the Blues in the last game and he was able to throw a shutout. Granted the Blues defense and forecheck was so good that he only faced a total of 21 shots, but still it was amazing how well he was able to play in the game and shut down the Sharks when they did get close to him.

The Sharks for their part were able to play decent with Martin Jones in the net. However, Jones did not really live up to the expectations in the day as he allowed 5 shots to get past him in the game. The downside is the Sharks defense did not help him out that much as he faced a total of 40 shots in the game and allowed 5 o those to slip past him and into the back of the net.

The Blues are heading home to face the Sharks in this game and that will definitely help the Blues out quite a bit. However, what else is going to help the Blues out is the fact the Sharks did not have much in the way of an offense in the last game and Binnington is able to turn away pucks almost at will lately and that will continue in this game here as the Blues win the game to move onto the finals. Final Score Prediction, Saint Louis Blues win 4-0.
