The Sharks scored off of what appeared to be a hand pass to bring home a win in the third game of the series. However, the Sharks defense was definitely challenged in the first game in Saint Louis and that really is something the Sharks would like to avoid in this game here, but it could be a challenge for the Sharks who looked outmatched at times in the game.

Now, what was really interesting was the final goal in the overtime. The Sharks did score a goal, which was obvious, but one thing that we briefly touched upon was the missed call. That was a call that saw Timo Meier get a hand pass completed to the scoring duo to get the goal. It would seem that Binnington, the Blues goalie, saw the hand pass, but the refs missed it and allowed the goal to stand creating controversy in the ending of the game.
Martin Jones played a decent game for the Sharks, even with 4 goals getting into the net. However, Jones faced a total of 32 shots and turned away 28 of those shots. All of the saves that Jones had came on the equal strength.

Jordan Binnington played in the net for the Blues. He faced a total of 32 shots as well and turned away 27 of them. One of the shots that he faced was in the end of regular time when the Sharks had the extra attacker on the ice and Binnington was beat to allow the Sharks to tie the game in the final minute of the game.

The Blues are definitely going to come into this game playing with a chip on their shoulder. The Blues also will be looking to prove that the final 2 goals the Sharks had in the game were flukes and not something that will be the new standard. Look for Binnington to play to the whistle as well and not give up on any plays, even if a penalty should have been called as the Blues bring home a win. Final Score Prediction, Saint Louis Blues win 5-3.
