Heading to Saint Louis the Sharks were definitely hoping to have the 2-0 lead in the series. However, the Blues were definitely able to battle back in the second game of the series and picked up a big time win in San Jose.

The downside is the Blues almost gave the game away when they were on the power play by giving up a shorthanded goal on what some people may even consider to be a breakaway. The play was decent, but it definitely motivated the Sharks as they would get another goal to tie the game. The Blues, though, proved their resilience they have had all series by bouncing back to get the win. The Sharks did have a decent game from Jones on the day, but he was unable to stop the puck often enough in the last game. Jones only faced a total of 25 shots in the game and allowed 4 of them to get by him in the game. None of the goals that were put in the back of the net for the Blues were on the power play.

With the Blues they had a great game from Jordan Binnington in the net. Binnington was able to turn away 24 of the shots that he faced. He only ended up facing a total of 26 shots, but what was really impressive was the fact that he was able to turn away most of those shots against a strong Sharks offense. The downside is he did give up a goal on the shorthanded shots and that definitely was not something he needed to do.

The Blues are coming in off of a high and really seemed to have figured out how to get the puck past Jones in the game. Look for the Blues to continue to have a strong offensive pressure in this game here and that will help to make the difference in this game as Jones and the Sharks defense has a tendency to collapse under the constant pressure and that can happen again. Final Score Prediction, Saint Louis Blues win 4-2.
