San Jose has not looked good at all. The Sharks have been very shaky on the ice this year and the defense has not been playing great at all as the Sharks have been crushed by all types of offenses this year. The Sharks also are having some issues in getting to lock down the offensive side of the puck as well and that is coming with games against some of the defense’s that were suspect at times.
This season the Sharks have managed to score a total of 5 goals on the year and that is barely an average of over a goal per game. Defensively the Sharks have been just as bad as they have given up 17 goals on the season so far.
The Blackhawks are coming back from their game overseas in what was a losing effort to the Flyers. However, the game that the Blackahawks lost was an impressive offensive flurry for the team as they ended up putting in 3 goals. The downside is the defense let them down, like it did last year, as the team allowed the Flyers to score a total of 4 goals.
Patrick Kane may be a little bit older, but he is still able to play some great hockey in his career. He leads the Blackhawks offense with a total of 3 points on the year, but what else is impressive is the fact that he ended up getting a goal and 2 assist to bring home the point lead.
