The Sharks have to bounce back from the loss they just had at the hands of the Avalanche. What is really bad for the Sharks is the fact that they were being very heavy hitting in the game, but the game still fell to the Avalanche who ended up winning a total of 4 goals in the game, but the Avalanche defense has to tighten up some as they allowed the Sharks to get close to being back in the game by giving up 3 goals to the Sharks.
In the game the Sharks ended up losing they would lead the game in shots with 34 shots from the Sharks and 32 from the Avalanche. The Sharks even won the faceoff battle with 33 to 31. The Avalanche were the harder hitting team as they managed to get 28 hits compared to the Sharks who ended up getting only 25 hits. When it came to spending time in the penalty box the Sharks had 4 minutes in the box and the Avalanche ended up spending 6 minutes in the box.

In the net the Avalanche relied on Philipp Grubauer who turned away a total of 31 shots out of the 34 that he faced in the game. The Sharks for their part relied on Martin Jones in the net. Jones was able to turn away 28 shots out of the 31 that were sent towards him as the Avalanche did land an empty net goal late in the game.

The Sharks are heading to Colorado and are actually looking a little shook up and flat after the recent loss. What else will help the Avalanche out is the fact that they are definitely a heavy hitting team and that will help them keep the Sharks, who seem to be a little bit larger team off balance in this game here. Final Score Prediction, Colorado Avalanche win 4-2.
