The Seattle Kraken will continue a road trip Thursday night struggling as of late after losing four of the last five games played including three in a row following a 6-4 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs last game out. Philipp Gruabauer had one of his worst games in recent memory posting a .839 save percentage after allowing five goals on 31 shots in just under 58 minutes of playing time.
Offensively Seattle has been terrible this season averaging only 2.56 goals per game on 28.4 shots as a team. Jared McCann is the leader of the Seattle offense with 33 points this season to go along with a team high 21 goals on 138 shots. Yanni Gourde leads the team with 21 assists.
The Ottawa Senators go back home Thursday night after a long road trip that ended with a 4-1 win over Saint Louis to end a long losing streak. Despite recent struggles Anton Forsberg controlled the game in the net for Ottawa allowing only one goal on 23 shots in 60minutes on the ice.
Tim Stutzle and Josh Norris carried the Ottawa offense scoring one goal and posting 2 assists each. Brady Tkachuk and Alex Formenton chipped in with one goal apiece to round out the Ottawa offense.
