Buffalo has been playing great on the year so far and actually can be considered a potential playoff team. However, the Sabres are a team that is going to have some problems in this game here as the Flames have been playing at the top of their game. The last game on the ice for the Sabres was a loss that extended the Sabres losing streak to 3 straight games. What is even worse the loss was not even close as the Sabres were blown out in the game 7-2 by the Oilers.

Jack Eichel is the player the Sabres have been relying on most of this season to help them with the scoring. Eichel has managed to get a total of 49 points with 34 assist. When it comes to scoring the goals the Sabres have relied on Jeff Skinner with 30 goals. Calgary is holding onto a close lead over the Sharks and Golden Knights. However, the Flames are definitely the team to beat in the Pacific Division and a lot of that comes from the fact the Flames offense has been playing amazing hockey on the season and coupled with the strong showing on defense it is rather easy to see the Flames winning quite a few games and in fact they have won 5 games straight.
