The Sabres are trailing the Boston Bruins by 15 points in the Atlantic Division. However, one thing that the Sabres do have going for them is even with their recent string of losses 2-3 in their last 5 games the Sabres are still tied for second in the Atlantic. The recent loss for the Sabres was to the New Jersey Devils in a 4-3 affair.

Jack Eichel is the leader once again for the Sabres on the year. Eichel has ended up with 18 goals, 21 assist and a total of 39 points to lead Buffalo. The Buffalo defense as a team is giving up only 2.97 goals per game so far.

Vancouver has managed to play surprisingly well on the year so far and sit in 4th place in the Pacific. Granted, it is a 3 way tie for 4th place, but the Canucks do hold the tie break over the other teams and do have a 14-11-4 record. The last game on the ice for the Canucks before this one was a 5-2 win over Ottawa.

Elias Pettersson is the leader when it comes to finding the back of the net for the Canucks with 12 goals and 32 points overall. The leading assister on the Canucks team is Quinn Hughes with 21 assist on the season. Defensively the Canucks are giving up 2.93 goals a game so far.

The Canucks are playing decent on the year and ended up getting a 5-2 win in their last game against a weak Senators team. The Sabres, have not been playing well recently and while the Sabres are due for a breakout again, it will not be in this game here as the Sabres struggle offensively in the game here. Final Score Prediction, Vancouver Canucks win 5-2.
