The New York Rangers have been one of those teams that has been all over the spectrum in the way they've been playing hockey. Now, the Rangers are sticking to the road where they have not been playing that well as they only have six wins on the road and 10 losses. The Rangers are facing an Avalanche team has been playing fairly decent hockey this.

So far this season when playing on the road the Rangers have only been able to score 2.61 goals per game and the defense on the road has been horrible giving up 4.06 goals per game. The Avalanche one of those teams has actually been playing decent all season and haven't had a relapse back to the horrendous season that they had last year and that could actually help them make the playoffs this year and be considered one of the favorable team still in the playoffs. However, it does not look like the Avalanche will be one of those teams that are going to make it to the Stanley Cup finals however it will be a change of pace for the Colorado team to make the playoffs.

When the Avalanche have been playing at home they have been doing fairly decent as they are scoring 3.11 goals a game which is off of their average for the season but the defense plays quite a bit better as they only give up 2.95 goals-per-game at home.
