Nashville has not really looked overly impressive on the year. The 5th place in the Central Division is a problem for the Predators as well. The Predators have a 21-16-7 record on the year. The last game on the ice for the Nashville team was a 1-0 win over the Winnipeg Jets.

This season the Predators have ended up getting a total of 3.44 goals a game being scored. The defense for Nashville has allowed a total of 3.30 goals a game. The Predators have converted on the power play at only 17.1% on the year. The defense for Nashville has managed to kill off 73.7% of the opponents power plays.

Edmonton is doing the shuffle back again in the Pacific Division. The Oilers started the weekend off towards the top of the division and now the Oilers are sitting on a 24-18-5 record and are in 5th place. The Oilers last game was a 4-3 loss to the Calgary Flames.

The offense for the Edmonton for the talent has struggled quite a bit on the year with only 3.02 goals a game being scored. The defense for the Oilers is giving up 3.13 goals a game. The power play offense for Edmonton is sitting at 29.3% conversion this year, but the penalty kill for the Oilers is sitting nicely at 82.7% on the year.

The Oilers are heading into the game here with an offense that has been producing very little for the amount of talent on the roster. The Predators are looking impressive under their new head man, but the Predators are still not producing at the level the Nashville club should be. Look for the Oilers to do just enough on home ice to bring home the win in this game. Final Score Prediction, Edmonton Oilers win 3-2.
