The Predators are traveling to Winnipeg to face the Jets in this game and it is a game that could have playoff implications. Yes, these two teams are pretty much a lock for the playoffs, it is more a point of seeding and if they can lock in the spot. The downside is both teams are within striking distance of the Golden Knights who could end up bypassing them on the season. What else could make a difference in this game could be the goalies as these two teams tend to have a good defensive show down when they face each other. Pekka Rinne is the player who has been able to lead the Predators on the season in the net. Rinne has been able to record 26 wins on the season for the Predators, but has a 91.6% of the shots sent his way saved. He also has a very good 2.42 goals allowed per game.

With the Jets the team has been able to rely on Connor Hellebuyck who has managed to get a total of 31 wins on the season for the Jets. Hellebuyck has been able to save 91.2% of the shots that have sailed towards him, but he has allowed only 2.93 goals a game.

Rinne is player better than Hellebuyck, but the difference is the Jets are playing at home and the home crowd in Winnipeg will sense how important this game is for the Jets and bring the noise and white out. Look for the Jets to play strong in this game and the offense will be able to get the puck past Rinne a couple of times in the game. Final Score Prediction, Winnipeg Jets win 3-1.
