The Avalanche were able to force a game 6 in Colorado which is a disappointment for the fans in Nashville. However, what is even more of a shocker is the Avalanche were able to force this game while using a goalie that started the year off in the minors. Little was it expected that he would able to battle back to the level of play that he would be a starter in the playoffs against one of the best goalies in the NHL, let alone help guide his team to the victory.

What was a real shocker for the Predators in the game was the fact they scored the opening goal. However, after just a few minutes the Avalanche would score the equalizer goal. Then they would go on to score the game winning goal with a little over a minute left in the game. In the game the Predators sent out Pekka Rinne into the net. Rinne in the game was able to play very well as he saved 25 shots out of the 27 that he faced. This led to Rinne getting a save percentage of 92.6% on the game.

The Avalanche sent out the Hamburgler who played really well. In the game Andrew Hammond was able to turn away 44 shots that he faced, which was simply amazing. Hammond had a great 97.8% of the shots saved.

The Avalanche really seen Hammond show up in the game in Nashville and this is going to really help the Avalanche out in getting some great confidence in this game. The Predators offensive struggles will continue against Hammond in this game as the Avalanche will be heading back to Nashville for a decisive game 7. Final Score Prediction, Colorado Avalanche win in upset 3-2.
