The Canadien and the Penguins definitely provided a thrilling game for the restart. The shocking part is the Canadiens came in as a very low seed in the playoff qualifying rounds and ended up winning the game over the higher ranked Penguins. Now, the game was not a complete blowout, though, as the Penguins and Canadiens did not end the game until over time.

The Canadiens offense was led by Kotkaniemi, Suzuki, and Petry all of who contributed a goal in the game. What is interesting is the stars for the Canadiens were pretty much shut down. Pittsburgh relied on their normal players to get the goals put in as Rust and Crosby both managed to get a goal in the game.

Carey Price showed up big for the Canadiens in net. Price faced a total of 41 shots and only 2 of those shots went by him. What else is helpful is the fact that Price was able to save 95.1% of the shots that had been sent towards him.

Matt Murray is the goalie the Penguins relied on in the game. Murray faced a total of 35 shots in the game and turned 32 of those away. Murray saved 91.4% of the shots, but the sad part is Murray did allow the game winning goal to sail past him in the overtime period.

The Penguins will look to bounce back in this game and that is a distinct possibility for the Penguins. Look for Pittsburgh to come into the game here and play some great hockey, but also know how to stop the Canadiens offense as a whole. That allows the Penguins to bring home the win and even the series up. Final Score Prediction, Pittsburgh Penguins win 3-2.
