The Pittsburgh Penguins will be in Las Vegas Monday night for game against the Vegas Golden Knights. Pittsburgh is 22-10-5 on the year after winning three of the last five games played including a 2-1 road win against San Jose in overtime. Louis Domingue strapped Pittsburgh to his back posting a .976 save percentage after stopping 40 of 41 shots in 60.5 minutes on the ice. 

Offensively Pittsburgh has been a solid team this season averaging 3.22 goals per game on 34.6 shots as a team. Jake Guentzel leads the Pittsburgh offense with a team high 19 points to go along with a team leading 19 goals on 109 shots. Kris Letang leads the way for Pittsburgh with 29 assists including eleven on the power play.

The Vegas Golden Knights continue a home stand Monday night struggling as of late  losing four of the last five games played including two in a row after a 4-3 loss to Toronto. Robin Lehner had one of his worst games of the season between the pipes for Vegas allowing three goals on 18 shots in 65 minutes on the ice including the game deciding shot in the shoot out. 

Offensively Vegas was mediocre against Toronto punching in three goals on 34 shots in the game. William Karlsson, Keegan Kolesar, and Alex Pietrangelo carried the Las Vegas offense with one goal each. Evgenii Dadonov and Mattias Janmark added one assist each.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have been playing some of their best hockey of the year as of late and will ride that wave Monday against a struggling VGK team.
