Montreal will try to get into the qualifying game and make it into the playoffs. However, the Canadiens are one team that will have a very tall order to do that as the Penguins are one team that has really played great and looked like one of the stronger teams in the NHL when the coronavirus pause hit the NHL season.

Tomas Tatar will be the player to watch for Montreal. Tatar put in a total of 61 points, but ended up with 22 goals and 39 assist. Evgeni Malkin ended up being the best player offensively for the Penguins with 74 points, but led the Penguins in assist with 49. Bryan Rust has the goal lead for the Penguins with a total of 27 goalsscored.

Carey Price is the projected starting goalie for the Canadiens. Price ended up posting a 27-25-6 record. Price only allowed 2.79 goals a game and turned away 90.9% of the shots that were sent towards him.

With the Penguins they do have two very solid goalies in net, but the projected starter should be Matt Murray. Murray posted a 20-11-5 record for the Penguins last year, but allowed only 2.87 goals a game and saved only 89.9% of the shots.

The Penguins are a very strong team and will have quite a few players back from the injuries that had really made Pittsburgh into a questionable pick. The Canadiens are coming into the game with a good roster, but a strong reliance on a single player to score for the team. Look for the Penguins to take advantage of that and keep the Canadiens offense in check. Final Score Prediction, Pittsburgh Penguins win 4-2.
