The Penguins are in the middle of the Metro Division playoff battle. However, the Penguins are going to need to break the tie they are in with the Islanders if they want to secure a higher seed in the playoffs and that could be a challenge for the Penguins. A single, win, though, could propel the Penguins to the top of the Metro.
