Penguins at Ducks 1/11/19 - NHL Picks & Predictions

The Penguins looked like they bounced back after the recent loss they had to the Chicago Blackhawks. The loss could have served as a spur for the Penguins to try harder as they were able to beat the Panthers in the next game. What was really impressive was the way the Penguins were able to shut down the Panthers offense and dominated on the offensive side as they won the game 5-1.

Sidney Crosby has shown up as the offensive leader again for the Penguins as he managed to score a total of 53 points on the year. Out of those points 33 have been assist and 20 have been goals on the season. The Ducks have not won a game in the last 9 games and that is going to be a challenge for the Ducks in this game here as the offense has been missing for the Ducks in most of the past few games. The Ducks have had a lot of one goal scoring chances, but have been shut out as well in some of the games and that is going to make a difference in the game here as the Ducks offense has not been able to score.

The one player who is leading the scoring charge for the Ducks so far this year has been Ryan Getzlaf who has been able to get a total of 29 points on the year with 20 assist. The goal leader for the Ducks is Ondrej Kase who has put in 11 goals this year.
