The Florida Panthers look to snap a three-game losing streak when they continue a road trip with a visit to the Minnesota Wild. The Panthers lost 4-3 to the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday. Evgenii Dadonov, MacKenzie Weegar and Mike Hoffman scored goals in the loss for Florida. The Panthers allowed four goals during the third period. Florida is now 11-12-3 with 28 points and is eighth in the Atlantic division.
Minnesota crushed the Montreal Canadians on Tuesday 7-1. Matt Dumba scored two goals for the Wild and goalie Devan Dubnyk stopped 28 shots by the Canadians. Prior to the won, the Wild had lost two straight and five of its last six. Minnesota is now 16-12-1 on the season with 34 points in fifth place in the Central division.
Mike Hoffman leads the Panthers in goals scored with 15. Jonathan Huberdeau is the assists leader with 28 and points leader with 36. Roberto Luongo is 5-5-1 with a 3.04 goals against average and .903 save percentage. Florida is 10th in goals per game at 3.28 and 27th in goals against at 3.52.
Zach Parise leads the Wild in goals scored with 14. Mikael Granlund is the team leader in assists with 20 and points with 31. In goal Devan Dubnyk is 11-9-2 with a goals against of 2.72, with a save percentage of .904. Minnesota is 12th in goals per game at 3.17 and 13th in goals against at 2.90.
