The Senators are playing horrible this year and do not look like the Ottawa team can really improve. The last game on the ice for the Senators ended up being a loss to the Edmonton Oilers by a 8-5 score. In the horrible loss the Senators ended up dropping to a 1-7-1 record on the year.

Offensively Ottawa is not that horrible with 2.44 goals scored per game. The power play for the Senators has converted at a clip of 15.4% on the year. Defensively the Senators are one of the worst teams in the NHL on a consistent basis giving up 4.89 goals per game. The penalty kill for Ottawa is sitting at 68.4% on the year.

Edmonton was able to get a very impressive win in their last game. The win came over Ottawa by a score of 8-5 and looked very impressive with how the Oilers were able to combine their offensive efforts in the game. The Oilers with the win moved up to a 5-6-0 record on the year.

The offense for the Oilers ended up with a total of 3.45 goals per game. With the power play the Oilers offense has converted at a clip of 28.6% on the year. Defensively the Oilers have struggled giving up 3.73 goals per game. The penalty kill on the year for the Oilers is killing off 69.4% on the year.

Edmonton is coming to the game here after picking up a very nice win in what ended up being a very high scoring game. The Oilers in this game should be able to continue to keep their offensive fury going, but will have a good game defensively as neither team is able to keep the playing at the same high level in the game here and that leads to the game hitting the under. Final Score Prediction, Edmonton Oilers win on the under 3-2.
