The Chicago Blackhawks look to bounce back in Game 3 of their best-of-five qualifying series with the Edmonton Oilers. The Blackhawks lost Game 2 by the score of 6-3 after opening the series with a 6-4 victory in Game 1. Chicago trailed after one period 2-1 and after two periods 4-3 but never gave up. Patrick Kane, Slater Koekkoek and Olli Maatta scored for the Blackhawks in the loss.

Dominik Kubalik is leading Chicago in goals scored with two, in assists with three and in points with five. Jonathan Toews has also scored two goals for the Blackhawks. In net, Corey Crawford is 1-1-0 with a goals against average of 5.00 and save percentage of .844.

Connor McDavid, who is considered by many as the most talented player in the NHL, displayed his talent on Monday with a hat-trick for the Oilers scoring a pair of goals in the first four minutes of the first period and adding a goal late in the second period. Also scoring for the Oilers in the win were Tyler Ennis, James Neal and Alex Chiasson.

Connor McDavid is leading Edmonton in goals scored in the postseason with four and in points with six. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is the leader in assists for the Oilers with five. In net, Mikko Koskinen is 1-0-0 with a goals against of 2.65 and save percentage of .911. Veteran goaltender Mike Smith started Game 1 and suffered the loss but did not play in Game 2.

The OVER is a solid choice here, but the play is Edmonton. The Oilers found their offense in Game 2 as Connor McDavid scored two early goals to set the pace and the Oilers responded each time the Blackhawks scored to narrow the lead. Edmonton has won eight of its last 12 versus an opponent from the Central Division. Final Score Prediction, Edmonton Oilers win 7-2.
