The Edmonton Oilers should actually be in the playoffs with the amount of talent that they have on the roster. The downside is that Oilers are not in the playoffs because the talent cannot make it onto the ice at the same time and when they are on the ice all at the same time they simply are not performing it like they should. That could easily lead to the Oilers having to make some offseason changes that could be hard for them to swallow. One player that is going to be safe tho is going to be Connor McDavid.

The Oilers on the season have relied on Mikko Koskinen in the net this year as he has picked up 24 wins for the Oilers. He has managed to get a 2.97 goals-against average and has turned away 90.5% of the shots sent towards him. The Calgary Flames have to be one of the teams that surprised quite a few people to season. The way that the Flames started out this season seemed to be a little bit slower than what they expected, but they end up putting out together and they actually ended up looking like a very good team on the year and could be one of those teams that makes it deep into the playoffs and possibly going to the Stanley Cup.

For the Calgary Flames they relied on David Rittich in net this year and he has picked up 27 wins on the year. He has a decent 2.61 goals against him allowed per game and has turned away 91.1% of the shots sent his way.

The Calgary Flames could end up resting some their players this game. However, even if they do it won't make much of a difference as the Oilers have looked a little bit lost on the year and actually looked a little bit jumbled and at times not sure where they should be on the ice. Look for the Flames to take advantage of their home ice and bring home a win in Calgary. Final Score Prediction, Calgary Flames win 3-2.
