New York Rangers at New Jersey Devils 3/22/22 - NHL Picks & Predictions

The New York Rangers will continue on East Coast road trip Tuesday night as they travel to Newark, NJ to take on the New Jersey Devils. New York comes into Tuesday 40-18-5 on the year after winning four of the last five games played including two in a row following a 2-0 win over Carolina. Goalie Alexandar Georgiev was dominant in the net for New York against Carolina saving all 44 shots leading to the shutout win.

Offensively this season New York has been a mediocre team averaging 2.94 goals per game on 28.6 shots. Artemi Panarin leads the New York offense with 72 points this season to go along with a team high 56 assists. Chris Kreider posts a team leading 41 goals on 200 shots for New York.

The New Jersey Devils will return home Tuesday night struggling as of late riding a three game losing streak after three consecutive 6-3 losses. New Jersey last to the Edmonton Oilers last game out as goalie Jon Gillies was abysmal posting a .872 save percentage after allowing five goals on 39 shots in just under 59.5 minutes on the ice.

Jesper Bratt was the biggest spark for the New Jersey offense against Edmonton with two goals and one assist in just over 18.5 minutes on the ice. Nico Hischier chipped in one goal and one assist, while three other devils added an assist as well.

New York is playing the much better hockey as of late and will overwhelm a struggling Devils team. New Jersey is struggling to prevent teams from scoring and New York will continue their recent tear.
