After a lackluster performance in game one, the Nashville Predators will face off against the Colorado Avalanche in the Western Conference first round game two on Thursday for a scheduled puck drop time of 9:30 PM Eastern. This game will be available on TNT in Denver Colorado. In game one, Colorado was victorious by the score of 7–2 with Nathan MacKinnon scoring two goals with one assist, Cale Makar having one goal and two assists, and Miko Rantanen having three assists.

Colorado scored five of those seven goals in the first period from Andrew Cogliano shorthanded, Cale Makar unassisted, Devon Taves and Nathan MacKinnon on the power play. Gabriel Landeskog added the sixth goal in the second period and Nathan MacKinnon finished off the scoring in the third with the seventh goal of the game assisted by Samuel Girard.

Miko Rantanen is the team leader for Colorado in points with 92, and it's also the team leader in goals with 36, 16 of those coming on the power play on 254 shots on goal this season. Nazem Kadri is the team leader for Colorado in assists with 59, 21 of those coming on the power play and is a +13 on the season.

Roman Josi is the team leader for the Nashville Predators in points with 96, to go along with 23 goals, and the team lead in assists with 73, 26 of those coming on the power play and it's a +13 on the season. Matt Duchene is the team leader for Nashville in goals with 43, 16 of those coming on the power play on 228 shots on goal this season.

With the absolute dominant performance that Colorado put on and game one at home, there is no reason that we see any different of an outcome in game two. The Colorado offense is just too strong for goalie Juuse Saros or David Rittich. Final Score Prediction: Colorado Avalanche win by the score of 5–2.
