The Canadiens were able to sweep Winnipeg in their series to bring home the win in the series. Now, the Canadiens will have to face the Golden Knights in the game here and that will be a challenge. The last game for the Montreal team was a 3-2 win over the Jets.

On the season Canadiens were able to put in a total of 2.77 goals per game. Defensively the Canadiens ended up giving up only 2.89 goals per game. Montreal converted on the power play at a clip of 19.2% on the year. The defense for the Canadiens have ended up killing off 78.5% of the power plays faced.

With the Golden Knights the team was able to pick up their series win over the Avalanche. The last win was by a blowout score of 6-3, which is very misleading. The game was a lot closer than what it looks as the Avalanche were empty net for quite a bit of the last bit of the third period.

Vegas has managed to get a total of 3.39 goals per game scored. The defense for Vegas has allowed a total of 2.18 goals per game. When it comes to the power play the Vegas team has converted at 17.8% on the year and the penalty kill is sitting at 86.8% on the year.

This game here will showcase the Canadiens coming after having some rest and recovery time, but that could lead to some lost momentum. Look for the Canadiens to come out playing flat in the game, but also not having the same type of fluid motion the Montreal team had earlier in the playoffs. Final Score Prediction, Vegas Golden Knights win on the under 3-1.
