Maple Leafs at Bruins 4/23/19 - NHL Playoffs Picks & Predictions

The Bruins and the Maple Leafs are going to a seventh game in their series and it is going to be one of those games that is going to see both teams pulling out all of the stops. However, in Boston the Maple Leafs have been able to win most of the games. So while a lot of fans and experts alike would think that taking the game on the road would be a problem for the Maple Leafs, it is actually a blessing for the team as they have been playing the Bruins a lot harder than what would be expected. Tukka Rask in the game for the Bruins was able to face 24 shots in the last game, a Bruins win, but he did allow a couple of goals in the game. However, one thing that Rask was able to do was get a couple of saves on the shorthanded size of the net.

Frederik Andersen was the goalie the Maple Leafs turned to for minding the net. He allowed only 3 goals in the game and was pulled with 2:06 left in the game which allowed the Bruins to secure the 4th goal in the game. Andersen was able to save 37 shots out of the 40 that he did face and 4 of those shots were shorthanded shots.
