The Toronto Maple Leafs are heading into the game here to face the Penguins after picking up a win in their last game heading into play on Monday. The Toronto club does not play the Flyers until Tuesday night on the road, and have a nice Monday morning to play in the snowstorm. This year the Penguins have posted a 13-11-4 record on the year so far.

On the year the Maple Leafs offense has been able to score at a clip of 3.29 goals a game. The power play has converted at a clip of 19.5% on the year so far. When it comes to playing defense the Maple Leafs are giving up 3.21 goals per game on the year and have ended up killing off 75% of the penalties faced.

The Flyers are heading into the game here with a 4 game winning streak. The last win for the Flyers came over the Canadiens by a score of 4-3 and was one that was very impressive for the Flyers as it showed the team can battle in the game and bring home a win. With the Flyers the team has managed to get a 15-7-5 record on the year so far.

When it comes to scoring the Flyers have managed to get 3.04 goals a game and have converted on the power play slightly better than the Maple Leafs at 19.8%. The Flyers have allowed only 2.70 goals a game and have killed off 85.7% of the penalties faced on the year,

The Flyers are playing at home and have a better roster when it comes to defense, power play, and even penalty kill. The one aspect the Maple Leafs have going better for them is the goal scoring, but that advantage will be negated by the fact the Flyers defense is better. Look for the Flyers defense to make up the difference in this game and that allows the Flyers to bring home the win in the game. Final Score Prediction, Philadelphia Flyers win 4-2.
