With the Kings they are playing in their opening game of the season here and they have to face an Oilers team that was able to come into the game with quite a bit of speed, but also a decent goal tending game. The Oilers are heading into the game her with a decent win on the year over the Canucks. Granted, it was not as strong of a win as what the Oilers would have liked to see, but it was a win that the Oilers were able to prove that their offense has been able to do decent on the year and should be able to continue to play at a higher level than what is expected and that definitely can give the Oilers an edge in this game.
When it comes to the goalkeeping the Oilers do have an impressive star that is going to come into the game. That is the former Coyotes and Flames goal who has been able to come into the game here with Mike Smith in the net.
