The Pittsburgh Penguins remain at home for their second straight home game. The Penguins lost to Buffalo on Thursday 3-1 and will play their first four games on their home ice. Evgeni Malkin scored the only goal for Pittsburgh and had two shots on goal. Sydney Crosby was -1 on the night with an assist. 

Matt Murray will take his spot in the net for Pittsburgh. Murray made 38 saves in their home opener but allowed 3 goals. Murray carries a 3.12 goals against average and looks for his first win on Saturday. 

The Columbus Blue Jackets hosted the Maple Leafs on Friday night before heading to Pittsburgh for Saturdays game. The Blue Jackets beat the Penguins 4-1 in their last meeting last season. Columbus looks to break their ten game losing streak in Pittsburgh. 

Elvis Merzlikins will make his first start in the goal for Columbus. Merzlikins will be making his NHL debut after being drafted by Columbus in the third round in 2014. The Blue Jackets have made the playoffs in three straight seasons. 

Back the Penguins at home on Saturday where they have dominated the Blue Jackets. Pittsburgh has won ten straight home games against Columbus covering the puck line in each of those games. The Blue Jackets are 0-6 in their last 6 vs. Eastern Conference.
