The Carolina Hurricanes (18-11-1) will visit the Edmonton Oilers (18-10-4) at Rogers Place. The Hurricanes are coming off a big win against the Wild, winning at home 6-2. They’ve now won two in a row, and will try to defeat the Oilers on the road.The Hurricanes’ Sebastian Aho recorded a career-high five points, with three goals and two assists in the win. The Wild were also on a five game winning streak. Who helped snap that. Teuvo Teravainen recorded three assists on the big night. The Hurricanes scored two goals in each period.

Andrei Svechnikov leads the Hurricanes in points with 32. He has 13 goals and 19 assists on the year. Aho now leads the team in goals scored with 16 goals, and 3 power play goals on the season.The Oilers took a tough loss to the Sabres in OT on Sunday, losing 3-2. Joakim Nygard scored his second goal of the season while Darnell Nurse chipped in with two assists on the night.

Leon Draisaiti has been tearing it up this season with 53 points. He has 19 goals and 34 assists on the year. He leads the Oilers in all categories with points, goals and assists.

The Hurricanes score 3.17 goals per game while the Oilers score just under three a game. The Hurricanes also limit goals slightly more than the Oilers. Carolina gets more shots on goal per game while Edmonton’s powerplay has been much more successful.

The Hurricanes do just about everything slightly better than the Oilers. This game should come down to the final minutes but if Edmonton can take advantage of Carolina’s penalties, the Oilers should win this one at home. Final Score Predictions: Edmonton Oilers wins 3-2.
