Vegas was able to beat the Nashville squad in the last game. The Golden Knights were able to control the Predators defense and that was definitely a major statement in the game. However, the Vegas squad was able to slow down and contain the Predators offense to a single goal in the game.

On the season the Golden Knights offense has started to play at a higher level by scoring 2.97 goals a game on the season. The defense for the Golden Knights has started to improve as well by giving up only 2.80 goals a game. The Golden Knights when it comes to the power play are converting at clip of 18%, but are killing off 82.9%.
The Avalanche are coming into this game here after getting completely blanked by the Saint Louis Blues in the last game. However, it was definitely a battle for the Avalanche who did not look like they were really into playing on the day almost the entire game and that was definitely a flat spot for the Avalanche in the game.

The Avalanche this year have been able to score only 3.21 goals a game. When it comes to the Avs defense the team has given up 3.29 goals a game. When the Avs are on the power play they have been able to convert at a clip of 22.4%, but defensively the Avs have killed off 76.8%.

The Golden Knights are playing decent hockey and after taking down the Predators in the last game it is going to be fairly easy to see the Golden Knights continuing to play at a very high level and definitely against a weak Avalanche team. Final Score Prediction, Vegas Golden Knights win 4-2.
