Can the season get any worse for Philadelphia the Flyers are actually coming into the game here with two straight losses one was a 6 to 5 to the Tampa Bay Lightning. The other was a lot closer it was against a team that was playing at the same type of caliber as the Flyers and that was to the Florida Panthers and it was a 2 to 1 loss. So it would seem that the Flyers this season are in a rebuilding mode. The downside is the Flyers do have quite a bit of talent still on the roster that is playing at a very high level.

One of the players that has been playing at a high level is actually Claude Giroux who is leading the Flyers with 44 points this season. Giroux is also leading the Flyers and assist with 31 assists and when it comes to goal scoring the Flyers have relied on Sean Couturier who has put in 14 goals.
For the Hurricanes, this season has turned into a massive switch from how they started. The Hurricanes, start the year off with a massive winning streak and were actually in first place for a while. Now, the Hurricanes are in a dead tie for last place with the Flyers and also with the New Jersey Devils. The Hurricanes would like to change that around and playing against another team that is in the basement could help them do that.

The big difference king and the Flyers this season has been the hurricanes are relying on one player for almost all their offensive production. The one player is Sebastian Aho who has managed to get 39 points for the for the Hurricanes. However, he has 15 goals and 24 assists both of which are leading the categories for the Hurricanes.

The Flyers are struggling this year, however, the Flyers struggles have been something they have been addressing. The Hurricanes, though seem to be on a complete free fall on the year as they're not really been able to bounce back from the losses the Hurricanes had that have led to them being in the basement now. This game will be a battle between the offenses, the Flyers offense does not rely on a single player to do most of their production and that will be the difference as the Flyers are able to shut down Sebastian Aho and keep him from scoring in this game. Final Score Prediction, Philadelphia Flyers win 3-1.
