Florida Panthers at Washington Capitals 5/9/22 - NHL Picks & Predictions

In one of the more back and forth series in the NHL playoffs, the Florida Panthers will face off with the Washington Capitals in the Eastern conference first round game four on Monday for a scheduled puck drop time of 7 PM Eastern. This game will be available on TBS. The Washington Capitals took the last game in this series at home by the score of six goals to one. Among the goal scorers for Washington was TJ Oshie, John Carlson, and Alexander Ovechkin on the power play from his famous face-off circle.

Florida had 30 shots on goal in the last game against Washington however Samsonov taking home the first star of the game with 29 saves only let up one goal. Florida had the edge in face-offs, however spent a lot of time in the penalty box at 14 minutes.

Jonathan Huberdeau is the team leader for Florida in points with 115, to go along with 30 goals, and the team lead and assists with 85, 33 of those assists came on the power play and is a +35 on the season. Alexander bark office to Florida team leader and goals with 39, 12 of those coming on the power play on 240 shots on goal this season.

Sergei Bobrowski has a wonderful chance to bounce back from a game in which he allowed five goals on 30 shots against. This should be another high scoring game in which the safe bet would be the over. Final Score prediction: Washington Capitals win 5–4.
