The Florida Panthers will be back on the road Friday night for Game 6 of their first round matchup against the Washington Capitals in Washington DC. Florida comes into game six up3-2 in the series riding a two game win streak after a 5-3 victory in game five. Sergei Bobrovsky struggled early in the game but locked in late posting a .909 save percentage after allowing only three goals on 33 shots in the full 60 minutes of game time.

Carter Verhaeghe led the way for the Florida offense with two goals and three assists in just under 19.5 minutes on the ice. Claude Giroux Chipped in one goal and one assist, while two other Panthers found the net as well.

The Washington Capitals return home Friday night struggling as of late after losing three of the last four games played in this series including two and row. Ilya Samsonov struggled immensely in the net for Washington posting a .868 save percentage after allowing five goals on 38 shots.

Offensively this season Washington has shined averaging 3.29 goals per game on 31.4 shots as a team. Alex Ovechkin leads the Washington offense this year with 90 points to go along with a team high 50 goals on 334 shots. Evgeny Kuznetsov Is the top set up man with 54 assists on the year.

Washington comes into this game struggling as of late with their backs against the wall and will come out fighting Friday night.
