Detroit looks to snap a five-game losing streak on Wednesday when it hosts the Flames. The Red Wings were defeated by Florida 4-3 in a shootout in their most recent outing. Detroit scored all three of its goals in the first period and was held scoreless the rest of the way. Andreas Athanasiou, Gustav Nyquist and Thomas Vanek scored for the Red Wings in the loss.
