The Flames are coming into this game after pick up a very close loss to the Predators. However, the defense of the Flames was the downfall in this game and that was what the Flames did not want to have happen when they have an older goalie in the net and that could definitely be an issue as the Flames go along this season.

The Flames offense has not been horrible by getting a total of 3.7 goals a game on the season. The problem is the Flames defense has been giving up 3.3 goals a game on the year so far. With the Rangers team has managed to only pick up a couple of wins on the year, but have dropped 4 games in regular time as a loss and 1 game in over time losses. However, the Rangers have had some issues in getting the wins they need to have as the team has had some problems in getting the goals that are needed.

In fact, the Rangers have had so many problems in scoring that the team is only getting 2.4 goals a game on the year. The defense has not been playing at a high level as well as the Rangers are giving up 3.4 goals per game.
