The Flames are heading into the game here with a little bit of momentum on the day after beating Edmonton in a 4-3 thriller. The win actually pushed the Calgary team to the top spot in the Pacific with a 25-17-5 record and put the Flames an entire point over the Coyotes and Golden Knights who are tied for second.

Elias Lindholm is the leader for the Flames when it comes to goal scoring with 18 goals. Johnny Gaudreau has ended up with 24 assist on the year. When it comes to the overall points lead, though, the Flames have come to rely on Matthew Tkachuk with 38. As a team the Flames are giving up 2.96 goals a game.

The Canadiens were finally able to break their losing skid. However, the win was a struggle for Montreal and ended with an overtime win over the Senators, one of the weakest teams in the NHL by a score of 2-1. The win did improve the Canadiens to a 19-20-7 record.

Tomas Tatar leads the Canadiens in the goal scoring with 16 goals, but also has 22 assist overall. When it comes to the overall scoring the Canadiens have seen Tatar lead the Canadiens in scoring with 38 points overall. The Montreal Canadiens have allowed 3.24 goals a game on the year.

The Flames are heading into the game after an offensive explosion against Edmonton and a day off on Sunday. The Canadiens are coming into the game limping after barely beating the Senators of all teams. The Flames are able to continue to have a strong offensive showing in the game here and the defense finally shows up again strong in the game to contain the Canadiens offense. Final Score Prediction, Calgary Flames win 3-1.
