The Flames looked downright horrible in the last game they played. The Flames, who were the leading team in the West, have not looked great and oddly are one of the other top teams in the league that have reached what can only be considered a playoff slump as they have struggled and have not really looked good at all. What is going to make it even harder for the Flames in this series is they have to win one of the next 2 games to avoid being bounced from the playoffs.

The Flames during the regular season were led by Johnny Gaudreau who ended up getting a total of 99 points on the year. Gaudreau ended up with 36 goals and a total of 63 assist in the game for the Flames. For barely making the playoffs the Avalanche are definitely making the most of it as they are taking the Flames to the limit. The last game when the Avalanche won the game by a score of 6-2 was one that the Avalanche looked amazing in and actually looked like they should have been the number 1 seed in the playoffs instead of coming into the playoffs as the final wild card qualifier in the game.

The Avalanche have relied on Nathan MacKinnon to lead the team in scoring with a total of 99 points on the year. He was able to get 58 assist, but also led the Avalanche in goal scoring as well with a total of 41 goals in the game.

The Avalanche are fired up and playing at home where they have really turned up the heat. The Flames, though, are having some issues in finding the back of the net and even the defense, which had been a leading factor for the Flames most of the year has gone missing. Look for the Flames to be extinguished in this game as the Avalanche are able to control the game rather easily here. Final Score Prediction, Colorado Avalanche win 4-1.
