Ducks at Blues 11/16/19 - NHL Picks & Predictions

Anaheim has gotten beaten up in its recent stretch, dropping five straight while allowing more than four goals per game. The Ducks have slid towards the bottom of the competitive Pacific Division, where four teams have at least 10 wins.

On Thursday, Anaheim allowed three third-period goals to San Jose to lose 5-3. The Ducks have to hope that late letdowns don't become a theme, as they also gave up a late lead and lost in overtime against Detroit on Tuesday.

Left Wing Jakob Silfverberg is the top scorer for Anaheim, with nine goals and eight assists. He has at least a goal or assist in four straight matches and has a total of two goals and three assists during that stretch. Early on, Silfverberg is on track for the most productive season of his seven-year career.

St. Louis sits atop the Central Division with 28 points and won seven in a row before being edged out by Phoenix on Tuesday. After a three-day break, the Blues will take on the Blue Jackets on Friday before turning around to play Saturday's game against Anaheim.

Ryan O'Reilly has been a great distributor in the St. Louis offense, with 14 assists so far. He has contributed a helper in three of his last five games and tacks on five goals on the season. The switch to the Blues last season was good for O'Reilly, who broke out with career highs of 28 goals and 49 assists.

The Ducks may have been able to play great defensively on the year. However, the Blues have a high powered offense that is able to top the Blues defense in this game here. Look for the Blues offense to play great and bring home a strong win in the game here. Final Score Prediction, Saint Louis Blues win 5-3.
