The Devils get to play in back to back games after facing the Flyers on Friday night. Granted, it was a home game so the Devils players do have that going for them, but the Devils do have to travel down to Carolina in this game to face the Hurricanes. What does not help the Devils out is how bad the team has played on the year so far and that really could cost the Devils in this game.

This year the Devils have managed to score at a clip of 2.80 goals a game. The power play for the Devils has converted at 10.3% this year while killing off 73% of the opponents power plays. Defensively the Devils have allowed 4.10 goals a game.

Carolina is heading into the game here with a great bit of momentum and look to be storming back after getting cooled off from what the Hurricanes had done earlier on the year. Now, the Hurricanes would like to head into this game after playing in back to back home games. The first of the opening game for the back to back games was against the Red Wings.

This season has seen the Hurricanes score at a clip of 3.17 goals  a game on the year. When it comes to the power play the Hurricanes have managed to convert at 23.1% of the power plays, but have killed off 82.2% of the opponents power plays. The Hurricanes have allowed only 2.50 goals a game to be scored.

The Hurricanes are facing the Devils team that has really struggled on the year so far. The Hurricanes offense has been able to score at a fairly good clip, but the defense for the Hurricanes shuts down the Devils offense, that is bad already, down in this game. Final Score Prediction, Carolina Hurricanes win 5-2.
